Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Colombo | Gateway to Sri Lanka

Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, meet your chauffeur and proceed to Colombo. After hotel check-in, enjoy time at leisure or explore the city’s highlights depending on arrival time. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2Colombo to Dambulla via Pinnawala | Wildlife & Village Life

After breakfast, depart for Dambulla with a visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe elephants in their natural environment. Continue with a traditional village tour to experience rural Sri Lankan life before reaching Dambulla. Check in and relax. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 3Dambulla | Safari & Ancient Wonders

Begin the day with a visit to Minneriya National Park for an exciting jeep safari, famous for its elephant sightings. Later in the afternoon, climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site offering breathtaking views and ancient frescoes. Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 4Dambulla to Kandy | Culture & Heritage

Day 6Nuwara Eliya to Ella | Scenic Train Experience

After breakfast, transfer to Nanu Oya railway station for one of the world’s most scenic train journeys to Ella. On arrival, visit the iconic Nine Arches Bridge and explore the charming hill town atmosphere. Check in to your hotel and relax. Overnight stay in Ella.

Day 7Ella to Yala | Into the Wild

Depart Ella after breakfast and proceed to Yala. In the afternoon, enjoy an exciting safari at Yala National Park, famous for leopards, elephants, and diverse wildlife. Check in to your hotel and unwind. Overnight stay in Yala.

Day 8Yala to Bentota via Galle | Coastal Heritage

After breakfast, travel towards Bentota with a stop at the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site blending colonial architecture with ocean views. Continue to Bentota and check in to your beachside hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 9Bentota | Backwaters & Turtle Conservation

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic Madhu River boat ride through mangroves and waterways. Visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about turtle conservation efforts. Return to the hotel and relax by the beach or pool. Overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 10Bentota to Airport | Departure

Package cost is based on the base category of rooms. Any upgrade in room or hotel category will be chargeable to the guest.
All sightseeing, ferry services and water activities are subject to weather and operational conditions.
Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
