Itinerary

Day 1Airport to Pinnawala to Dambulla

Ayubowan! On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and introduced to your chauffeur guide. Begin your journey towards Dambulla, visiting the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where rescued elephants are cared for in a semi-natural environment. Continue to Dambulla, check in at the hotel, relax after the journey, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

 

Day 2Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Minneriya National Park

After breakfast, climb the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its ancient frescoes, landscaped gardens, and breathtaking panoramic views. In the late afternoon, proceed for an exciting jeep safari at Minneriya National Park, famous for the spectacular elephant gathering and rich birdlife. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Dambulla.

Day 3Dambulla to Kandy

After breakfast, check out and visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, known for its impressive Buddha statues and ancient murals. Continue to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. Visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, followed by a Kandy city tour and a visit to local gem shops. Check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 4Kandy to Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya

Post breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya, stopping at the scenic Ramboda Waterfalls. En route, visit a tea plantation and factory to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon Tea and enjoy a tasting session. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” and enjoy a city tour covering colonial buildings and lush gardens. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5Nuwara Eliya to Yala

After breakfast, check out and travel towards Yala. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling Yala National Park safari, home to leopards, elephants, sloth bears, crocodiles, and a wide variety of birds. After the safari, check in at the hotel, enjoy dinner, and overnight stay in Yala.

Day 6Yala to Galle to Bentota

After breakfast, depart for the southern coast. Visit the historic Galle Dutch Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with cobbled streets and colonial architecture. Continue to Bentota, check in at the beachside hotel, and spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying the beach or hotel facilities. Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 7Bentota

After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the resort. Later, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about sea turtle conservation, followed by a serene Madhu River boat safari, passing through mangroves and small islands. Return to the hotel for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 8Bentota to Colombo

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Colombo. Enjoy a city tour covering Gangaramaya Temple, Seema Malakaya, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, Lotus Tower, BMICH, Port City, and Galle Face Green. Optional shopping and high tea experiences may be enjoyed. Check in at the hotel, dinner, and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 9Colombo to Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure, carrying unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka.

  • Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
  • Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
  • Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

  • Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
  • 30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
  • 50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
  • Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
  • For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
  • Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
  • Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
    ➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
    ➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
    ➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
  • No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
  • In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
  • In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
