Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local tour representative and transferred to your hotel. As Leh is located at an altitude of over 11,000 feet, the day is kept easy to help you acclimatise to the high-altitude climate. After some rest, enjoy a leisurely walk through the old town to get your first feel of this charming Himalayan city. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, built by Japanese Buddhist monk Gyomyo Nakamura, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2Shyam Valley excursion with Shanti Stupa

After an early breakfast, set out for a scenic excursion to Shyam Valley. Begin with a visit to the Hall of Fame, showcasing the bravery of Indian soldiers, followed by the revered Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. Experience the natural wonder of Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity, and later visit the picturesque Sangam Point, the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar rivers. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, built to promote world peace, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 3Leh – Khardung La Pass – Nubra Valley

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on an exciting journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes. Drive along dramatic mountain roads and pause at the pass to admire sweeping views of Leh below. Descend into Nubra Valley, an ancient caravan route at the confluence of the Shyok and Nubra rivers. Visit Diskit village and explore the iconic Diskit Gompa, offering stunning valley views. Continue to Hunder to witness the unique cold desert and the famous double-humped camels, with an optional camel ride. Evening at leisure followed by dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 4Nubra – Turtuk village excursion

After breakfast, proceed towards the enchanting village of Turtuk, one of India’s northernmost settlements near the border. This beautiful village offers a striking contrast to the rest of Ladakh, with lush greenery, narrow valleys, and a unique Balti culture influenced by the Gilgit-Baltistan region. Stroll through the village, interact with locals, and enjoy views of apricot orchards and scenic landscapes. Return to Nubra Valley by evening, enjoy a delicious dinner, and relax with an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 5Nubra – Pangong Lake via Shyok | Pangong – Leh via Chang La

Start early after breakfast for a memorable drive to the iconic Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. The journey itself is a visual delight, with snow-capped mountains and rugged terrain. Upon arrival, witness the surreal beauty of Pangong Lake, famous for its ever-changing shades of blue and its vast expanse along the India–China border. Spend time soaking in the tranquillity and natural beauty before continuing your journey back to Leh via the Chang La Pass. Arrive in Leh by evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s dramatic landscapes, peaceful monasteries, and high-altitude adventures, marking the perfect conclusion to your Himalayan escape.

Hotels mentioned in the itinerary are subject to availability; in case of non-availability, similar alternate hotels will be provided.
Package cost is based on the base category of rooms. Any upgrade in room or hotel category will be chargeable to the guest.
All sightseeing, ferry services and water activities are subject to weather and operational conditions.
Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
