Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Delhi | Overnight Volvo to Manali

Reach Delhi in the morning. You can explore local sights or rest at a hotel at your own cost. Travellers arriving by flight can check into nearby hotels at their own expense allowing you to freshen up and prepare for the adventure ahead. Report at Majnu Ka Tilla at 06:00 PM. Take an AC Pushback Volvo Bus to Manali ( anywhere between 6:30 pm – 9:00pm) Start the journey from Delhi to Manali. 

Day 2Manali to Sarchu (200 Kms, 8 Hrs Drive Approx)

After Early morning breakfast, we will Head Towards Sarchu while traversing through the iconic Atal Tunnel and Baralacha La (15,910 ft.). Continuing our journey, we’ll traverse through Darcha, Patsio, and Zingzing Bar before encountering one of our most demanding passages en route to Leh: the formidable Baralacha-La Pass, towering at 4892 meters.Our journey will then lead us down through Killing Sarai, eventually arriving at our overnight stop, Sarchu. Upon our arrival in Sarchu, we will indulge in some group bonding activities followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3Sarchu to Leh Via Tanglang La

Post breakfast we’ll be traversing three iconic high-altitude passes which are Nakee La (15,547 ft), Lachung La (16,600 ft), and Tanglang La (17,480 ft) Continuing our journey, we’ll traverse the Nakee-La and Lachung-La passes, both situated at elevations of 4739 meters and 5065 meters, respectively, just beyond the renowned Brandy Bridge.These passes promise breathtaking panoramic vistas of the majestic Himalayan Terrain. Following a swift lunch break, embark on a drive through the Moore Plains, a vast expanse of perfectly level terrain spanning over 30 kilometers. Here, keep an eye out for charming clusters of marmots and untamed herds of Kyung-yak leisurely grazing in the Expansive Fields. Finally, we’ll drive through Upshi and Karu before reaching our destination – Leh! Arrive Leh, check in to our hotel and spend the night relaxing and preparing for the adventures ahead. Get ready for an unforgettable experience in Leh! 

Day 4Shyam Valley excursion + Shanti Stupa

Have an early breakfast today morning and leave for the Shyam Valley Excursion. First place visit Hall of Fame. Then you will be be visiting the renowned Gurudwara Pathar Sahib. The biggest attraction of the day, is the visit to the Magnetic Hill, where you will see your car move uphill even when in neutral gear. Later visit the confluence or Sangam Point of Indus and Zanskar (Sangam), a colorful experience. Evening visit to Shanti Stupa built  in  1991  by  Japanese  Buddhist  Bhikshu  Gyomyo  Nakamura. Shanti stupa provides beautiful and panoramic view of the surrounding landscape. Shanti Stupa in Ladakh was built to promote world peace and a symbol of the ties between Japan and Ladakh Overnight in Leh.

Day 5Leh to Nubra via Khardungla Pass

After morning breakfast, get ready for a thrill filled day. Check out from the hotel and drive to Nubra Valley via World’s Highest Motorable Pass. Drive through steep serpentine roads and reach Khardung La at a height of 5550 metres. Take a stop at the pass and enjoy bird’s eye view of Leh city. Capture the fantastic views in your camera before driving down to Nubra Valley. It is an enticing old caravan route at the confluence of Shyok and Nubra rivers. Arrive at the camp resort, freshen up and proceed to visit the charming valley of Diskit, the tiny capital of Nubra. Visit the famous Diskit Gompa, the oldest and largest Buddhist monastery (gompa) in the Nubra Valley providing a breath taking view of the valley. After the visit, further drive to Hunder to see the cold desert and the world famous two humped camels. Enjoy a unique camel ride (on your own cost). After a super exciting time, it is time for some rest. We get back to the camps in late afternoon and relax. Take leisurely strolls in the evening, have dinner and retire for a relaxed sleep

Day 6Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake via Shyok Route

Have an early breakfast today morning and set out for a visit to the famous Pangong Lake via Shyok. Enjoy the spectacular journey with amazing sceneries of snow clad Himalayas. Situated along India/China border, Pangong Lake is an utter delight to eyes with its various water colours seen at a stretch. It is the highest salt-water lake in the world with a height of 4267 metres, 130 kms long and about 6 kms wide. The perfectly clear environment with beautiful sky and surrounding hills add to the magnificence. Have your dinner, spend some more time with nature and enjoy the crystal clear sky views with glittering stars at night. Overnight in Pangong

Day 7Pangong Lake to Leh via Chang La Pass

Enjoy a beautiful morning in the camps, charge yourself with morning breakfast and create lifetime memories. Today, drive back to Leh driving on the same route crossing the Changla La (pass). Arrive at Leh around afternoon and check in at hotel. You can go for some shopping in nearby local markets or just relax. Have dinner and go for a relaxed sleep to recharge yourself for the upcoming day. 

Day 8Leh to Kargil and Drass

A delectable breakfast with a panoramic view. Begin your day with a visit to the Kargil War Museum in Drass (subject to operational availability), then continue your drive to Leh, crossing Namika La (3,697 meters) and Mulbekh, where you’ll see the impressive Chamba statue carved from a single rock. Make a stop at the oldest monastery in Ladakh, Lamayuru, known for its unique landscape.

Day 9Kargil to Sonamarg and Srinagar Drop

After breakfast today you embark on a full day excursion to the picturesque ‘meadow of gold’ Sonamarg. Sonamarg is First stop of Kashmir district. Drop to Srinagar Railway stand or Hotel. Tour End.

  • Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
  • Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
  • Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
  • Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
  • Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

  • Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
  • All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
  • Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
  • 30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
  • 50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
  • Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
  • For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
  • Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
  • Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
    ➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
    ➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
  • Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
    ➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
  • No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
  • In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
  • In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
