Itinerary

Day 1Welcome to Sri Lanka – Colombo City Experience

On arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, meet our representative and chauffeur guide. Proceed to Colombo and check in to your hotel. In the evening, explore Colombo’s key attractions including Gangaramaya Temple, Seema Malakaya, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, BMICH, and the lively Galle Face Green. Optional shopping can be enjoyed at popular malls and local boutiques.
Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2Wildlife & Heritage Trail – Colombo to Kandy via Pinnawala

After breakfast, depart for Kandy with an en-route visit to the world-famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Witness elephants being cared for in a semi-natural environment, a truly memorable Sri Lankan experience. Continue to Kandy and visit the revered Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most sacred Buddhist shrines. Later, enjoy a guided city tour covering scenic viewpoints and local gem shops.

Day 3Kandy – Bentota | Journey to the Coast

Following breakfast, check out and enjoy a picturesque drive towards Sri Lanka’s southern coast. Arrive in Bentota, a well-known beach destination famous for its golden sands and calm surroundings. Check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing by the beach or enjoying hotel facilities. Optional water sports are available depending on weather conditions.

Day 4Nature & Wildlife Exploration – Bentota

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at the hotel. In the afternoon, embark on a Madhu River boat safari, cruising through mangroves, islands, and rich wetland ecosystems. Later, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about Sri Lanka’s turtle conservation efforts and see different turtle species up close. Return to the hotel and unwind for the evening.

Day 5Bentota – Colombo Airport | Departure with Memories

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed towards Colombo International Airport for your onward journey, carrying beautiful memories of Sri Lanka’s culture, wildlife, and romantic beaches.

Hotels mentioned in the itinerary are subject to availability; in case of non-availability, similar alternate hotels will be provided.
Package cost is based on the base category of rooms. Any upgrade in room or hotel category will be chargeable to the guest.
All sightseeing, ferry services and water activities are subject to weather and operational conditions.
Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
