Itinerary

Day 1Airport to Colombo

Ayubowan! Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed and introduced to your chauffeur guide. Proceed to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant commercial capital, known for its colonial charm and modern lifestyle. After check-in, enjoy an evening city tour covering Gangaramaya Temple, Seema Malakaya, Nelum Pokuna Theatre, BMICH, and the lively Galle Face Green. Optional shopping can be done at Majestic City, ODEL Unlimited, House of Fashion, or the Ceramics Corporation showroom. Dinner and overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 2Colombo to Pinnawala to Kandy

After breakfast, check out and travel towards Kandy with an en-route visit to the famous Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, home to rescued elephants living in a semi-natural environment. Continue to Kandy and visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most important Buddhist shrines in the world. Later, enjoy a guided Kandy city tour and visit local gem shops. Dinner and overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 3Kandy to Ramboda to Nuwara Eliya

Post breakfast, check out and proceed to Nuwara Eliya via Ramboda. En route, stop at the scenic Ramboda Waterfalls surrounded by misty hills and lush greenery. Continue your journey to Nuwara Eliya, fondly known as “Little England” for its cool climate and colonial architecture. Check in at the hotel and enjoy a relaxed evening. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 4Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing

After breakfast, visit the sacred Seetha Amman Temple, followed by a tour of a tea plantation and factory to experience Ceylon tea production, tea plucking, and tasting. Later, enjoy a city tour of Nuwara Eliya covering Gregory Lake, colonial-era buildings, and scenic viewpoints. Return to the hotel and relax amidst the cool hill-country surroundings. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.

Day 5Nuwara Eliya to Ella (Scenic Train Ride)

After breakfast, check out and proceed to Nanu Oya railway station to enjoy one of the world’s most scenic train journeys to Ella, passing through lush tea estates, tunnels, and mist-covered hills (subject to availability). On arrival, visit the iconic Nine Arch Bridge and the beautiful Ravana Falls. Check in at the hotel and enjoy leisure time. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella.

Day 6Ella to Galle to Bentota

Following breakfast, check out and drive towards Bentota via the historic city of Galle. Explore the UNESCO-listed Galle Dutch Fort, known for its colonial architecture and charming streets. Continue to Bentota and check in at your beach resort. Spend the rest of the day relaxing by the beach or pool. Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 7Bentota

After breakfast, enjoy leisure time at the resort. In the afternoon, visit the Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery to learn about turtle conservation, followed by a peaceful Madhu River boat safari through mangroves and island villages. Return to the hotel for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay in Bentota.

Day 8Bentota to Airport

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for departure, carrying unforgettable memories of Sri Lanka.

Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
