Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Leh

Upon arrival at Leh Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our local tour representative and transferred to your hotel. As Leh is located at an altitude of over 11,000 feet, the day is kept easy to help you acclimatise to the high-altitude climate. After some rest, enjoy a leisurely walk through the old town to get your first feel of this charming Himalayan city. In the evening, visit the serene Shanti Stupa, built by Japanese Buddhist monk Gyomyo Nakamura, offering breathtaking panoramic views of Leh and the surrounding mountains. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 2Shyam Valley excursion

After an early breakfast, proceed for an exciting Shyam Valley excursion. Begin with a visit to the Hall of Fame, a tribute to the brave Indian soldiers. Continue to Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, followed by a stop at the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where vehicles appear to defy gravity. Later, witness the spectacular confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers at Sangam Point, a truly colorful natural sight. Return to Leh by evening and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La

After breakfast, check out and begin a thrilling journey to Nubra Valley via Khardung La, one of the world’s highest motorable passes. Pause at the top to admire breathtaking views of Leh before descending through dramatic mountain landscapes. On arrival in Nubra, visit Diskit village and the iconic Diskit Monastery overlooking the valley. Continue to Hunder to witness the cold desert and spot the famous double-humped camels. Spend the evening at leisure at your camp, followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

Day 4Nubra – Pangong Lake via Shyok – Leh via Chang La

After an early breakfast, depart for the iconic Pangong Lake via the picturesque Shyok route. This scenic journey offers mesmerizing views of snow-clad mountains and untouched landscapes. Located along the India–China border, Pangong Lake is famous for its ever-changing shades of blue and crystal-clear waters. Standing at an altitude of 4,267 meters, it is the world’s highest saltwater lake and a true visual delight. After spending quality time by the lake, return to Leh via Chang La Pass, one of the highest mountain passes. Overnight stay in Leh.

Day 5Nubra Valley to Turtuk village

This morning, drive to the picturesque village of Turtuk, one of India’s last villages near the Pakistan border. Rich in Balti culture, Turtuk offers a refreshing contrast with its green fields, apricot orchards, and traditional lifestyle. Explore the village and interact with locals to understand its unique history and culture. Return to Nubra Valley by evening and enjoy dinner and a comfortable overnight stay at the camps.

Day 5Nubra to Pangong Lake via Shyok, return to Leh via Chang La

After an early breakfast, depart for the iconic Pangong Lake via the scenic Shyok route. The drive itself is a visual delight, passing through rugged mountains and river landscapes. On reaching Pangong, admire the ever-changing shades of blue of this high-altitude saltwater lake. Spend some quiet moments soaking in the beauty before beginning your return journey to Leh via Chang La Pass. Arrive in Leh by evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 6Leh monastery tour (Shey, Thiksey, Hemis)

After breakfast, proceed for a monastery tour of Leh. Visit Thiksey Monastery, known for its impressive Maitreya Buddha statue and sweeping views of the Indus Valley. Continue to Shey Palace, the former summer residence of Ladakh’s royal family, and explore its historical ruins and serene surroundings. Later, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the largest and most significant monasteries in Ladakh. Return to the hotel for a relaxed overnight stay in Leh.

Day 7Departure from Leh

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey. Depart with unforgettable memories of Ladakh’s majestic landscapes, rich culture, and serene monasteries, marking a truly enriching Himalayan experience.

Package cost is based on the base category of rooms. Any upgrade in room or hotel category will be chargeable to the guest.
All sightseeing, ferry services and water activities are subject to weather and operational conditions.
Complimentary services, if not utilized due to any reason, are non-refundable.
Infritrip reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to operational reasons or unforeseen circumstances.
Guests are required to share correct names as per government-approved ID documents at the time of booking confirmation.
Any personal expenses, optional tours, meals not mentioned in inclusions and additional services are payable directly by the guest.
Infritrip shall not be responsible for any delay, change or cancellation caused by airlines, hotels, transport providers, weather conditions or government regulations.

Payment Policy

Infritrip is a 100% GST compliant company. Cash payments are accepted only with prior approval.
All bookings are subject to availability at the time of reservation.
Full payment is required at the time of booking as airfare is dynamic and may change without notice.
30% of total package cost is required as a booking confirmation amount.
50% of the total package cost must be paid 30 days prior to travel date.
Remaining 20% must be paid 15 days prior to travel date.
For bookings within 15 days of travel, 100% payment is required immediately.
Payment invoice and booking confirmation will be shared via registered email.
Travel vouchers are usually provided 1 day prior to the travel date.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation made more than 30 days before travel date:
➡ 30% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made between 15 – 30 days before travel date:
➡ 50% of total package cost will be charged.
Cancellation made within 0 – 15 days before travel date:
➡ 100% of total package cost will be charged.
No refund will be provided for any cancellation caused due to flight cancellation, natural calamities, weather conditions, ferry operational issues, government restrictions or last minute changes.
In case of activities cancelled due to weather or operational reasons, alternate arrangements will be made where possible. No monetary refund will be applicable.
In case of lockdown or government-imposed travel restrictions, a credit note may be issued (valid for 1 year) which can be used for future bookings. Revised package cost will be applicable as per prevailing rates at the time of rebooking.
